SHERATON ABUJA HOTEL PARTNERS UNICEF ON 2016 ROAD TO AWARENESS FLEA MARKET FUND RAISING EVENT

In line with Corporate Social Responsibility, the Management and associates of Sheraton Abuja Hotel recently joined the rest of their counterparts globally to raise funds for Road to Awareness (R2A) R2A is a fundraising initiative in which Legacy Starwood Hotels partnered with UNICEF under the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene program to provide safe water and sanitation as well as nutrition to children in affected areas of the world.

Sheraton Abuja Hotel organized a colorful flea market at the Ladi Kwali Conference Center of the hotel.

The flea market venue became a one stop shop with over eighty vendors all selling interesting items ranging from vintage African clothes, uniquely designed material, jewelry, art & craft, cosmetics, books, kiddies items and gadgets just to name a few. The event was sparked good music, choice pastries and beverages.

Customers were able to experience an enriching and unforgettable time out with shopping and interacting.

The exercise commenced at 9a.m. and ended at 7p.m. as the products displayed were provided at discounted prices which gave a fun twist to the shopping experience.

The UNICEF Ambassador for the Hotel, also communications Manager for Starwood Legacy Hotels in Nigeria, Ms Nanji Tyem gladly announced "we are privileged to be part of teams that support the population of the world children that need these funds to improve their lives which gives them a level ground to achieve their potential".
