Last weekend was a gathering of who is who at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Emmanuel Chapel, Aso C, when the Priest in Charge of the Chapel who also doubles as the Chaplain of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), THE Rev. Ayodele Jato held a thanksgiving service to thank God for his recent ordination and confirmation as THE Reverend by the Prelate of the Methodist Church, Nigeria- His Eminence Dr, Samuel Uche.

Friends and well wishers of the celebrant including fellow Priests and large chunk of NCPC Management and staff were at hand to honour and celebrate with their own.

THE Rev, Jato who is also a certified National Accountant is very humble and purposeful.

He has the grace of building and developing churches from the scratch between 2009-2015, he was able to build the MCN, Bethesda Church Trinity Circuit Diocese of Nyanya.

After the completion of the Church, he was transferred to the Methodist Church Nigeria, Emmanuel Chapel, Aso C on 1st January, 2016 where he has started the process of building the Church from foundation level.

In his speech at the thanksgiving service, THE Rev. Jato said, "Today is my ordination thanksgiving service, He that can think can thank".

According to him; "By the grace of God, I am here to do the assignment in which He called me to do, my life is a testimony. The reason for my thanksgiving today is simply, I was called out of darkness by God to show His praise".

He explained that his journey into priesthood which should have lasted for six years was cut short by one year by God through His servant, the Prelate of Methodist Church, Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. Samuel Uche.THE Rev. Jato described his accelerated elevation as an "uncommon favour".

He enjoined all his quests at the thanksgiving service to convert their gifts to cash to assist him to put up a Church building as his appreciation to God.

Guests at the event testified of the passion and zeal of the celebrant who is truly an anointed servant of God
