Stay Up Aviation partners IFOD, University of South Wales on training

Stay Up Aviation Institute of Technology (SUAIT), Ibadan, has now signed partnership agreement with the Institute of Flight Operations & Dispatch (IFOD), USA and University of South Wales, UK.

The Director, Stay Up Aviation Institute of Technology, Mr Kenneth Oudah, who disclosed this to Travelscope in Ibadan, pointed that the institute is doing everything possible to see that all students are given an international exposure after the completion of the mandatory courses at Stay Up Aviation.

"It is necessary that we shape the aviation sector in Nigeria, for this to become a reality, Stay Up Aviation needs to further exposed our students to international training for the purpose of obtaining a global certification", Oudah said.

He stated further "IFOD is comprised of a team made up of experienced airline industry professionals who know exactly what it takes to succeed in the flight dispatcher field.

"Therefore, it is our priority at SUAIT to ensure that our prospective students becomes the best airline dispatchers in the aviation world.

"Our partnership with IFOD will be an avenue for our students to obtain their FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certification with the opportunity to incorporate new procedures learned in the industry into our curriculum thus giving our dispatch students a value added dispatch education."

On the University of South Wales, students of SUAIT will have the opportunity of direct entry to further their education to obtain BSc (Hons) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and BEng (Hons) Aeronautic Engineering in UK.

"At Stay Up Aviation, we understand that aviation is a global industry so our instructors and management will not compromise on our high educational standard in producing the best aviators for the sector," Oudah concluded.
